After the nightmare trip to Chicago, I heard back from them today. They would like to make an official offer, but they need to get the start date. They need some time to get me a laptop, and to get me access to everything.

We decided on the Tuesday after Memorial Day. It is two weeks away, and gives them time to get a laptop ordered and sent to me. The other option was to wait three weeks, but I really want to get things going sooner rather than later.

At least going Chicago actually got me the work. I would have been really mad if I went through that and they decided not to even give the work to me. Since we really didn’t talk about anything, there wasn’t any reason for them to decide I wasn’t a good fit.

With the plane tickets and the limo to and from the airport, they were already $500 invested in me. Now I just have to wait until my start date.

I was also able to sell a couple bitcoin-related products today. The profit isn’t super high, but at least with the promise of coming work, today wasn’t as unproductive as the others have been lately.
