I am not a real big fan of my apartment, and with my lease coming to an end soon, I am thinking about moving out. I hate moving, but this would be a good time to go through all my stuff and eBay anything I don’t really want or need.
I still have a lot of boxes I haven’t unpacked since moving here, so whatever is in them, I should be able to safely get rid of. Really, it’s just as much about not having to move so much stuff as it is getting the money for selling it all.
I do have a lot of items I bought to sell that I still have laying around. Just getting those on eBay would be a big help. Since it’s a random collection of stuff, though, going through it all and listing it won’t be too much fun. This is likely something I will wait until the weekend to actually do.
With the website listings coming down, the site that has a lot of inventory is still a concern. I would need to get rid of all of it to avoid having to move it. I am thinking about starting to list those items at the break even point and even consider taking a loss to just get rid of it.
The worst part about having inventory that isn’t being sold is paying to keep it around. Taking the loss now will likely be better than paying extra to have it moved. Plus, I sold a significant part of it already for a profit, so taking a loss on the remainder isn’t too devastating.
I did have a $0 day today, though.
