Not much has been going on. I did try to sell the website and all inventory that I had previously tried to sell on BizBuySell. This time, I slashed the price and put them on Craigslist.

The main idea was to sell everything off before the move since it takes up about half the boxes I have. I get one guy who sounds like he could be interested.

However, he wants to see the items before he talks about money. I figured someone coming over to see them is way more serious of a buyer than anyone else. Now, he doesn’t respond too quickly even after asking to see the items and then sending a follow up email shortly after stating he’s still waiting for a reply.

After emailing him back and texting, he get a day set up so he can see them, but before it happens, he wants to start talking about the price.

At this point, I am pretty sure he’s not too serious and will begin looking for a way out. Waiting around for him is becoming really inconvenient. If he were to show up, I would take a loss on the items just to get him to take them home with him.

What I don’t want to happen, though, is I wait around for forever and he never shows up. Lately, I haven’t been doing much and I still need to pack. Taping the boxes the items are in shut would at least start the whole packing process.

I would have boxes ready to be loaded on the truck and could start moving things around, stacking them on top each other, figuring out what else needs packed.

After a few more text messages, including asking where I was located, which was already pretty well covered, I have given up on the guy.
