Today wasn’t too bad. I still come in at 10:00am, but today I brought my own laptop. I was told that I could bring my personal laptop and use it to do work related things. I have no work and no documents to even read. Plus, I don’t have a computer.

So I really had no work related things to even do, but it looked better that I was sitting in front of a computer instead of just playing on my phone.

I was able to do some more client work, so it wasn’t a complete waste of my time. The nice thing is, that since it was my personal laptop, I had a lot of things I needed on it already. It’s not like a new laptop where you spend a day getting everything installed and configured the way I want it.

This one was ready to go, and I was able to connect to just about everything I needed from the company guest network. Since my laptop wasn’t an official device, I couldn’t connect to the real company network, but that wasn’t needed for anything.

There is still the issue of it being a little boring. I don’t want to do a ton of work there since people can walk up behind me and see what I am doing. I am not sure if people seeing the window open violate the confidentiality agreement, but I don’t want to risk it.
