Day 123: Cavs game

I don’t typically watch sports, and if I do, it’s really only the end just to see who wins. Today, however, I watched the entire Cleveland Cavs game. The good news is, they won. The bad news is I really didn’t do anything else.

It was not a very productive day, but it’s been awhile since I watched a live game. I don’t have cable, and have to watch the games online. The actual plan was to watch the game on one monitor and then do work on my second monitor.

That didn’t really work out. Every time Cleveland got the ball, I started watching again, so I had about 30 seconds to do work, and then went back to watching.

I do sell some items on eBay and my website that are bitcoin related, and with the prices increasing, the items are getting more popular. I got another sale on eBay for an item while watching the game, but that’s about it as far as making money goes.

The website I was looking at buying went up and the reserve still isn’t met. It’s the price now that I was thinking about bidding. Since it didn’t meet the reserve, I am pretty confident it’s out of my price range.

I am thinking I should do some more advertising and promoting of the products I am still trying to sell since a lot of them are already paid for. Just holding onto them doesn’t help their value, and since moving, I would like to get rid of all the junk that I moved, but didn’t really need to.

I still have a few junk boxes that I should either go through and sell, or just throw away. This is mainly to get rid of items I don’t want and less about making money, but if I don’t do it soon, I likely won’t do it until I am planning on moving again.

And then I will rushed all over again until I either sell for a loss or just move it again. I would like to thin out the number of items I actually stock and keep in my apartment. Mainly, I have no furniture, just boxes of stuff.

I would like to get to the point where I could start getting some chairs and things so in the unlikely event that people come over, they all don’t have to stand. That’s not a real high priority as of now, since I don’t know why anyone would come over.

But I would like to eventually get there. With the Pittsburgh apartment lease being 6 months, I am hoping I can get some stuff sold for profit, some stuff sold just to get rid of it, and then re-evaluate my apartment to see if there isn’t anything better in the area.
