Today wasn’t very productive. I mainly watched TV and slept, which is typically what I do. The ads are starting to lose their excitement. I have a feeling if I don’t start doing something, though, I will hit a streak of doing nothing again.
The ads are really disappointing. I ran ads before, and I know that they will likely be terrible to start off with. Then, with some tweaking, they will start to perform better. At this rate, though, the ads are going to take forever to get to the point of performing well.
I shouldn’t just give up on the ads. One issue I tend to consistently run into is doing something, stopping, and then forgetting how to do it when the time comes to do it again. I really need to constantly run ads so that when I need to create ads again, I am way more familiar with how to do it.
I am still heavily reliant on client work, which I have been complaining about for a while, but still never got anything else up and running. eBay was the only thing that generated anything even close. Neither one is really that passive, though.
With about a week left before I start the new client, I was really hoping to get something going before I get buried in work. That doesn’t look like it will be the case, though. I am still thinking that WordPress plugin from while ago is still the best shot. It’s the closest to being ready and the easiest to market.
I am hoping I can get something going to help offset the dependency on the client work, but really, the client work is the only thing bringing in any money. The other option is to focus exclusively on the client work and try to sub-contract some of it out, actually get a web development company going.
