Today was also a pretty boring day. Client work-wise, I still have nothing. This is nothing compared to the amount of work that was getting dumped on me earlier in the year. While it’s nice for things to be calm, they are a little too calm.

I could try to ramp up even more client work, but then there will be a time when several clients will all have super-high priority work all at the same time, and I won’t possibly be able to do it, resulting in at least one of them ending my contract.

I really should focus on something else that is more flexible. Something that I can work on when I have time, but won’t suffer during stretches were I ignore it. This is really where the passive income strategy should go.

Currently, I don’t have much going on. I could try to do the website sales, and build up brand name recognition now while I don’t need sales, and then hopefully be established enough to get sales consistently when some of the client work comes to an end.

There’s also the theory that if it makes money, keep doing it. Right now, that is client work. Trying to focus on something else, that so far, hasn’t been proven to even me profitable, seems like a bad idea. I also have that WordPress plugin that I could finally get around to launching, but even that isn’t guaranteed profit.
