Day 32: Wasn’t as Bad as I was Excpecting

I woke up early (more like not late, for once) and was able to get everything to the post office. The stupid drop box jammed, but there were other packages set along the counter, so I put my there, too. I didn’t get any new client work, for the most part, and even had time to work on the WordPress plugin.

I was pretty happy to just get everything dropped off at the post office in one trip. Throughout the day, client work was pretty slow…which was nice. I was tasked with kicking off builds, which meant I had to contact a few people to increase my access level.

I mainly just sent out emails and waited for replies. One task I had, which I had to talk with someone about, got bumped up to be my next priority. I was also able to solve another task I had, basically by pure luck.

At least I am not buried in work anymore. I was even able to work on the plugin update server. It’s coming along well, but still a little rough around the edges. More than likely, I won’t be able to get it completely done without getting the WordPress plugin further along to see what actually the update server needs to do.

I did manage to get a few eBay sales, but it was the slower moving items with low profit. I did realize I am selling out of items entirely, which means the eBay sales will soon come to an end. I have been considering placing more orders for items, but eBay really isn’t something I wanted to focus on. It was only a way to test some thing, which full disclosure, I haven’t really been doing.

I may hold off on more eBay orders until I actually get more done in terms of the things I planned on testing. I am still thinking I need a way to validate the ideas early to avoid spending too much time on ideas that just won’t end up profitable. But after the hectic days lately, today was pretty good.
