Today, eBay sales started picking up after the updates from yesterday. I also did an interview for a job in Chicago, but it didn’t go so great.
The interview was with a company I started talking to last year. They finally got back to me after about a 2 month pause. It’s a small company without many employees, which requires everyone to do multiple roles, since they don’t have all the resources the larger companies do.
That’s part of the reason why I like it, since I am not stuck doing the same thing over and over, but the huge downfall to the interview was the fact that I am not from a small company now. All my recent experience, I kick problems out to the departments who were created those types of problems.
That definitely wasn’t the response they wanted to hear. Pretty sure I won’t hear back, but even if I do, I can’t tell how long this process should even take. The 2 month pause was after I sent my resume and before the first round interview was scheduled.
It’s quite possible they are just slow and will take weeks to get back to me even if they are interested. At this point, though, I will likely try to find something else and not wait around.
The good news today, eBay sales started coming in again. The revised listings finally showed up in eBay’s search and people started buying.
A couple items are already sold out and a slow moving item sold again. Now I have to get used to going to the post office again.
