With the client work task done, I submitted my first timesheet for the second client. Really, I am supposed to submit my time weekly, which I typically do on Fridays, but I wanted a little extra time to get more work done. The timesheet site also lists Monday as the starting day and Sunday as the last day.
I did work on Sunday night, which is why I didn’t get around to submitting the timesheet until today. The site seems to have the ability to create projects and manage a team, but my free account doesn’t have that. Instead of adding my time to an existing project, I just created my own project and added the time towards that.
When it comes to actually submitting, I just go to reports, and then export it as a PDF file. I then send that file over. This seems like a weird request to use this site just to get PDF files. I could track my time in anything, including Excel, and generate a PDF from it.
Yet, my contract specifically states that I must track my time here. I asked if I was doing it right since I still don’t see a lot of benefit of using it. At least I have paid time finally submitted!
