Day 96: Falling Behind

I still haven’t done anything. I have nothing packed, and eBay sales aren’t doing too great, either. Half the stuff didn’t even sell, and what did sell didn’t sell that high. Packing up and shipping is harder than just packing it up and taking it to Pennsylvania.

Most of the auctions were for $0.01 plus the cost of shipping. What went horribly wrong was the cost of shipping was always under the actual cost of shipping. Most of the stuff sold just to break even.

I could just throw everything away that I didn’t want, made out the same, and wouldn’t have had to find boxes, box up everything, and then take it to the post office or UPS.

Even stuff that was selling decently didn’t do too well when I quickly tried to sell everything off before moving. The better strategy would have been to sell everything I didn’t want sooner, so there was more time to actually get a decent price.

Otherwise, I should just move it. I am moving myself, so not putting everything in a box and labeling it is an option. So really, I did nothing productive, and ended up creating more work for myself.
