As surprising as it is, I still didn’t get around to doing anything. However, I did look at what I have in my apartment, and it’s not too bad. The eBayables are easily half the items, and those are already in boxes.
Just taping the boxes shut will get me half way there. Everything else is pretty minor. I have a lot of computer equipment that will go in my car and not the moving truck. That stuff won’t get boxed up.
Then it’s just clothes and kitchen items. Most of my kitchen things I still have the original boxes for, so other than a box or two for dishes and any food I still have, that shouldn’t be much.
Really hoping I can just knock out the packing in a couple hours. Taping the eBayables boxes and then moving them to the truck would really free up a lot of room, though, making it easier to do the packing of the other items.
The other part I don’t really feel like doing is the whole cleaning of the apartment before turning in the keys. According to the move out sheet, I just need to vacuum the carpet and make sure all windows have blinds.
If any blinds are damaged or missing, the cost of replacing is super high. I shouldn’t have to spend too much time cleaning after I move everything out to the truck.
