Today was my last day on the job. I really didn’t do much, other than walk around and talk to people. The only nice thing was I knew there would be nothing for me to actually do. Now, I just have to get the big move over with, and then hopefully go back to doing something.

I started taping the boxes shut that contained eBayables. I moved a few around to free up some space, but that was about it. As far as moving goes, looks like I will be doing everything tomorrow.

With my work laptop and security badge turned in, I am getting everything else ready to turn into my apartment leasing office. The plan is to load the truck, turn in the keys, and head to the new apartment in time to get the keys.

There is a tight deadline to get the keys since I have to be at the new leasing office before they close, however, I can’t turn in my existing keys until the current apartment leasing office opens.

Plus, I have to pack and get everything on the truck before I turn in the keys, and I need to vacuum and clean.

I am pretty sure moving is going to be horrible, but I am looking forward to getting it over with. The whole hassle with moving is a big reason why I don’t like changing jobs.
