Another day of nothing. I got the wired sent for the closing that will happen tomorrow. I also did some apartment cleaning since a notary comes over to do the closing. I didn’t do anything that actually made money, though.

I fell back into the pattern of falling asleep before accomplishing anything. eBay sales are slowing and I am low on items anyway. Not sure I should load up again for another run or shift focus on something else.

The nice thing about eBay was the fact that money was coming in, but it was also a lot of work. I am really looking for something that can scale, and doing the packing and shipping myself definitely won’t.

I started looking into Fulfillment by Amazon, but I am not sure I have enough stuff to actually justify doing that. What I would like to have set up with FBA is apparel which has too many SKUs because of the size and color combinations.

I don’t even know if I have anything that I could just sell on Amazon. One site does sell items that would work, but they are cheap $5 items. I am more worried about the reviews from people, especially competitors, that will trash the products and then show up first in Google for the product name.

For a $5 product, I am not sure that’s even worth it. I did think about coming out with a separate version of the product that is limited edition, and then only selling those items on Amazon for a slightly higher price.

Everything else I sell is a restricted category on Amazon and requires approval. The first step in getting approved seems to be having a paid account. With nothing to really sell, having a paid account doesn’t seem worth it.

I really don’t want to have a paid account for 6 months that I sell nothing with while I wait for the approval process. That would be real horrible in the event that after the 6 months review process, I am denied the option of selling in the categories I want.

So for now, I am still undecided if I continue with selling products online.
