eBay sales have gone from $71 in profit yesterday to less than $21 today. Not real sure what causes this to happen, but sales should bounce back. It’s days like this that I would like something else going to help make up for the poor sales.

The eBay listings are “Buy it Now” style listings. One thing I do have to watch for is competitor listings that pop up at a lower price. If I am selling at $10 and someone else lists something at $9.99, they begin getting all the sales.

Every so often, I have to back through all the items I have and check the going prices to make sure I am still competitive. Typically, I shoot be be a few cents lower than the cheapest. Sometimes, if the lowest is too low, I aim to be lower the rest and just wait for the cheapest listing overall to sell out.

There were times were the cheapest sold out, and I could actually raise my price and still be under the next cheapest listing. However, the issue of competitor listings doesn’t seem to be the case now. I will likely just wait this out.
