With the client work task done, I submitted my first timesheet for the second client. Really, I am supposed to submit my time weekly, which I typically do on Fridays, but I wanted a little extra time to get more work done. The timesheet site also lists Monday as the starting day and Sunday as the last day.

So after thinking about it yesterday, I decided to try some Facebook page promotion just to see if the whole page thing is even worth doing. I am not a real big fan of the strategy, but I figured I would give this a shot.

Today was mainly spent catching up on client work. All this Pittsburgh commotion let the client work slip through the cracks to the point I was behind. I needed to get some stuff done to get back on track.

Another guy on my team flew out to California for an interview. I was really hoping he would have gotten an offer so we could quit together. However, I think I am supposed to give 15 days notice, so I submitted my resignation today.

I got a call from the HR person to go over my offer, and then was emailed the official offer letter. I gave a verbal acceptance on the phone and then signed the letter. I am officially going to Pittsburgh.

Today, I got around to filing my taxes. That wasn’t very exciting, or profitable, and it took more time than I wanted. After filing them, I didn’t really do anything else. Today was another day of very little money-making.

I had one task to do for my day job, and even though it was really complicated, it was really time consuming. It also had a hard deadline of Thursday and needed to be fully tested by then. I figured the only way I could get this done was to spend time today doing it.

I completed the client task to finally get past the free one. I had to add a new field to a database, and then check that field. Sounds easy enough, but I ran into a few problems.
