Today was the second closing for the house. It was a different notary than before and was done way faster than the first one. The only thing that wasn’t as good was the fact I didn’t get a copy of anything I signed.

Another day of nothing. I got the wired sent for the closing that will happen tomorrow. I also did some apartment cleaning since a notary comes over to do the closing. I didn’t do anything that actually made money, though.

Still falling asleep, but I did get some news. First, I got a closing date for the second investment property I bought. Second, I heard back from the Pittsburgh company about getting an application submitted.

With the new client, I was given a task to complete, and I typically do one for free to help land the contract. Today, I got an email saying the task I was supposed to be working on ended up being high priority, so it was completed already.

After all these stupid job interviews, I finally heard back from a guy I interviewed with previous. The position is in Pittsburgh, and I originally did the interview 6 or so months ago. At the time, the cost of breaking my apartment lease was too much.

Today, I got to go to the police station and get fingerprinted. Client work will soon involve deploying to the production server, and that requires an extensive background check…including being fingerprinted.

The new client I have been talking with has finally set up a server for me to do work on. I did offer to do the first task for free, as a sample, but I am hoping I can start billing soon.

So after the clear issue from yesterday, I managed to do nothing about it today. I followed the typical pattern of doing the client work, taking the call, and then falling asleep shortly after without getting anything else done.
