I looked into buying a business before, and things didn’t work out. The deal went to someone else, and it turned out to be a bit of a money loser anyway. Now, there is another opportunity to get into the same industry, but with a different business. This is looking like a pretty good deal.

I went ahead and pulled the trigger on the ads. However, I am now waiting for them to actually get approved. As of right now, the ads are still pending approval. I figured this was probably normal since I have a new account and everything, but I would like to have them active and running soon.

I started looking more into Bing Ads. I’ve been thinking that the ads would be cheaper than Facebook, but might be easier to target buyers using buyer keywords. Plus, a lot of people say Google Adwords is overcrowded, so I hope Bing is a bit cheaper.

After working on the landing page for the new promotion idea, I think I finally have it ready to go. It has everything required without affecting the main site. Now, I just have to run ads to the page.

Well I went back to being unproductive. I spent most of the day watching TV. I also woke up really late, which may be due to the whole plane trip back. That made Thursday and Friday pretty hard to stay awake. After catching up on sleep, I really just wanted to watch TV.

After picking the start date, I got the official contract for the Chicago work. I start on the Tuesday after Memorial day which is actually longer than I wanted.

After the nightmare trip to Chicago, I heard back from them today. They would like to make an official offer, but they need to get the start date. They need some time to get me a laptop, and to get me access to everything.

Today went horrible. It all started off with me being a little nervous about getting to the airport. I don’t mind actually being in the plane in the air, but I do hate trying to figure out where I am going once inside the airport. Also, I don’t fly very often. Once I screw something up and then figure out what I was supposed to do, I don’t fly soon enough to remember it.
