So today ended up being a day of defending my server. After yesterday’s day of sleeping, I figured I should actually get some work done and sell some sites. I figured the first step would be to get a list of the ones ready to go…that lead me done the path of compromised sites.

I should have been more productive today, but I wasn’t. I spent most of the day sleeping. It’s a long holiday weekend, and the last weekend before I start the new client. That makes it likely that this is the last weekend I can actually sleep without getting too far behind.

Two days after my first sale, I got another one! Still, the ads are expensive, but I am hoping to fine tune them now that sales are coming in. Overall, I still spent more than I made.

I started looking at some point of sale options. I am interested in buying a business, but I don’t live all that close. I am in Pittsburgh, and this is in Ohio. In order to make this work, I am looking for some remote visibility.

I got my first sale from the ads! It wasn’t a very big sale, but it was at least a profitable one. Overall, the ads are still more expensive to run than the sale has covered, but at least we are moving in the right direction.

With the new client work starting, I have to take a drug test before my first day of work. I had it scheduled for today, early morning. It wasn’t the best drug screen I ever had to do.

I am thinking about importing from China again, and selling on eBay. I have been thinking of some products to get, and am leaning towards business equipment. Mainly, the equipment is expensive and the Chinese imports are cheaper. There also isn’t a strong brand. I don’t have to worry about the Chinese products competing against big name brands.

Today wasn’t very productive. I mainly watched TV and slept, which is typically what I do. The ads are starting to lose their excitement. I have a feeling if I don’t start doing something, though, I will hit a streak of doing nothing again.

Looks like the plan is working, which gives me an idea for another plan. This will involve another new ad type to see how it performs. The best part is, I can have all 3 ads run and compare them. The new ad type is a combination of the existing two.
