Day 20: eBay Refunds

It was bound to happen sooner or later, but the time has come for eBay complaints. I have had 3 items damaged. 1 was completely broken, but was less than $8, so it didn’t really break the band to issue the refund. The others were partially damaged. The plan for those is to offer a partial refund and let the buyers keep the items.

Day 19: Plugin Update Server/Slower eBay Sales

The big disadvantage of premium plugins is they cannot automatically check for updates again the WordPress plugin repository. However, that can be overwritten to check updates against a different server. One of the improvements I would like to make to my version of the plugin is the ability to stay up to date without having to log in to an account somewhere, download the new version, and then manually upload to your site.

Day 18: Client Issues & International Sales

Today I was mainly focused on getting the client work issues resolved. I dedicated the entire day to just work on that, and got nowhere. I am going in circles with no end in sight. On the plus side, I got a sale from one of my ecommerce sites. It’s the second time I sold something outside the United States. This one is going to the UK.

Day 14: Client Issues Still Not Resolved

I was pretty excited to find out the remaining conditions were finally met. However, shortly after I ran into issues and couldn’t do any work. The vendor relations person is new, joining at the tail end of my last stint there. That, combined with the fact that I am not actually new, but a returning vendor, makes this whole process even more complicated.
