I was really hoping to get caught up on client work, but that didn’t really happen. Yesterday was invoicing day, but along with that, I have to submit a work log broken day by hour per day. That stupid log took me 3 hours to put together.

I am still getting client work assigned to me with a delivery date being the same day. Every time I get tasks done, I get more right after. I am ending the week with more tasks than I started with, and the ones I get are due the same day. I am trying to get all that need to be completed to avoid having to do mandatory weekend work.

I had one eBay listing with a quantity of about 20 that just wasn’t selling. After revising the price, I am selling at least one a day since. Today, I got eBay sales back up to the point it’s worth doing.

I am getting more eBay sales from the revised listings. Slight issue, I cut the price of the slowest moving item I have to be under the cheapest listing, and I ended up losing 32 cents on the sale. That does not include the cost of the enveloped I mailed it in.

The amount of client work I am doing is far more than I anticipated. To help get through it, I have been relying heavily on caffeine. Well, the caffeine finally wore off, and I fell asleep before getting much done.

Today was another day of client work, but at least things are settling down. It’s to the point where I get work, and then report back when the work is complete. There’s not a lot of interaction with other people, and I am free to do whatever necessary to just get the work completed and delivered. Even though things are getting better, I have still be ignoring eBay, and ended the day with 0 sales.

The nice thing about today was I found a few things regarding the issues I was looking into. I was hoping I could complete something and make the status call just a little bit happier. That didn’t happen, as the what I found had no affect, and the issues still occurred.

It’s Saturday, and I didn’t even get to sleep in. Looks like I got online way earlier than everyone else, though. I am guessing they all switched to Pacific time since it was noon before people really begin showing up as available. We had a 5:00pm call followed by a 7:00pm call. Even though it was the weekend, we still screamed.

I am hating the client work. Not only is everything an emergency, but everyone who gives me work wants theirs done first. Status calls turn into screaming matches, everything we do it heavily criticized, and we are passing the blame for everything that doesn’t get done.

It took a week, but access was finally granted. This will allow me to start doing client work. It a lot more phone calls in the morning to finally get everything I needed, as shortly after, I started getting requests for work to complete.
